Your First Visit
Your first visit at Nooma Wellness Center will be a time set aside for Dr. Deja to listen to you and identify the current state of your health. After completing your paperwork, you’ll be brought back to sit with her for the initial consultation. At this time, you’ll discuss what brought you into the clinic and any concerns you may have. Proceeding this, you will be asked to change into comfortable gown to take full spine x-rays, perform postural analysis, gait analysis, range of motion tests, measure your muscle strength, and a thermography scan.
All this information will be gathered and analyzed by Dr. Deja to determine the best plan of action for your care. Dr. Deja prides herself on making the correct diagnosis so that your care is tailored just for you! Therefore, we don’t adjust patients during the first visit but after the Report of Findings. Dr. Deja is a 100% solely Gonstead chiropractor and she follows the method of this technique in order to provide the best possible care for each patient.
Second Visit
The moment you have been waiting for! Dr. Deja will review the findings from the exam and full spine x-rays. During this time, it is encouraged to ask any questions that you have so you can fully understand your chiropractic care. Nooma Wellness Center’s heart desire is to educate and bring understanding to your current state of health. Having an answer to a condition or symptoms you may be experiencing is a big relief. When you’re ready, Dr.Deja will perform an adjustment, and then have you schedule your next visit.
Regular Care
During a regular visit, Dr.Deja will scan your back with the nervo-scope to find nerve pressure. She then will use palpation and your analyzed full spine x-rays to verify the reading from the scope. She will watch you walk and adjust where the nerve pressure was found. Dr.Deja will then re-scan your back to make sure you’re leaving in the best shape possible! She also likes to make sure your gait (walk) has improved, so a post gait analysis is used to determine the need of any extremity adjustments.
